Tanya Rexin brings 30 years of leadership experience in public post-secondary education, Indigenous Relations, industry, and government. Throughout her career, she has held progressive roles as an instructor, Regional Director, and Dean at colleges across Northern British Columbia, where she developed a strong reputation for building partnerships, supporting learners, and advancing community-focused initiatives. She later joined the Haisla Nation in Kitimat, BC, leading training and workforce development programs in preparation for the LNG Canada project and helping create opportunities that aligned community priorities with major economic development. 

Currently serving as National Director, Indigenous Relations for Aramark Canada, Tanya is recognized for her ability to build authentic, trusted relationships across diverse communities, organizations, and stakeholders. She approaches every engagement with respect, humility, and a genuine commitment to listening and learning. Her work is grounded in the belief that lasting success comes from meaningful collaboration and ensuring Indigenous voices, perspectives, and priorities are reflected in decision-making and project outcomes. 

Tanya holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Leicester and an MBA from Simon Fraser University. She is known for fostering strong connections, creating spaces for open dialogue, and bringing people together to achieve shared goals. Her deep appreciation for Indigenous cultures and values, combined with her extensive leadership experience, enables her to build enduring relationships that support positive outcomes for communities, organizations, and partners alike.
