His approach emphasizes long-term value creation, capacity building, and culturally grounded governance.
In parallel with his consulting work, David serves as a professor at McGill University, where he contributes to the development of future leaders in business, public policy, and Indigenous engagement. His teaching reflects both professional practice and lived experience, bridging theory and real-world application.
David is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the University of Otago. His research focuses on how Indigenous communities define, govern, and operationalize economic value within their own systems. Grounded in Indigenous research methodologies and ethical frameworks such as TCPS2, OCAP®, CARE, and UNDRIP, his work aims to bridge Indigenous and mainstream economic paradigms, influencing both policy and practice.
Across his professional, academic, and community roles, David is committed to advancing equitable, inclusive, and sustainable economic systems that reflect Indigenous values and priorities.
