Darion Ducharme
Darion Ducharme is the Founder and CEO of Teqare, an Indigenous-owned education and technology training organization headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Through Teqare, Darion leads one of Canada’s fastest-growing Indigenous digital education initiatives, delivering cyber security, AI awareness, financial literacy, and digital life skills workshops to communities nationwide. In the last year alone, Teqare has reached over 70 First Nations and hundreds of schools across Canada.
Raised with a deep understanding of the digital challenges facing Indigenous communities, Darion built Teqare to bridge the gap in digital literacy and empower people of all ages to stay safe, confident, and informed in an increasingly online world. His workshops support youth, adults, elders, and organizations with real-world knowledge—from preventing scams and understanding AI to managing money and navigating digital life safely.
Darion’s leadership and impact have been highlighted by major national media, including Global News, CBC, SAY Magazine, and The Globe and Mail, all of which have featured Teqare’s work supporting communities through hands-on, accessible, and empowering education.
He is also a keynote speaker at national Indigenous gatherings, a frequent presenter at conferences focused on digital safety and community empowerment, and a strong advocate for increasing access to technology education across both remote and urban First Nations. Darion continues to champion a vision where every community has the skills, confidence, and opportunity to thrive in today’s digital world.
