Steve O’Bomsawin is the President and CEO of Asban, an Indigenous-led digital agency based in the Abenaki community of Odanak, Quebec. A committed entrepreneur and technology strategist, Steve has over 20 years of experience navigating the digital landscape. Since founding Asban in 2013, he has built a multidisciplinary team of experts delivering custom solutions in development, design, multimedia production, digital marketing, IT infrastructure, AI and automation, cybersecurity, and consulting; serving businesses, Indigenous communities and organizations across Canada and beyond.

Steve leads digital transformation initiatives that help businesses and Indigenous organizations modernize operations, strengthen governance, and enhance service delivery. Drawing on his deep expertise in strategy, infrastructure, and process optimization, he helps leadership teams implement technology solutions that are both technically robust and culturally aligned. His work enables communities to become more autonomous, efficient, and digitally sovereign; bridging the gap between innovation and tradition.

Outside of his professional life, Steve is a private helicopter pilot and lifelong tech enthusiast.
