Danielle Hartley is the Founder and President of Dynamic Horizons Innovative Relations Inc. (DHIR), a Canadian Indigenous and community relations consulting firm that helps organizations build respectful, meaningful, and mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous communities. With more than 18 years of experience in Indigenous and community relations, Danielle advises organizations across Canada on Indigenous engagement, partnership development, Indigenous procurement, employment, training, and economic reconciliation strategies.
Danielle has been involved with the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) program since 2013, helping organizations across Canada achieve and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold accreditation. DHIR Inc. was proudly the first PAIR facilitator organization endorsed by CCIB, and Danielle continues to support organizations in strengthening their Indigenous relations performance and accountability.
Prior to founding DHIR Inc., Danielle held senior Indigenous and community relations roles with The Cahill Group and ATCO Structures & Logistics and served as Communications Manager for Membertou Development Corporation, one of the most progressive Indigenous communities in Canada. Throughout her career, she has focused on creating opportunities for collaboration, advancing reconciliation through action, and helping organizations build lasting relationships based on trust, respect, and shared prosperity.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Public Relations with Distinction from Mount Saint Vincent University and has completed executive leadership training focused on Indigenous relations and strategic leadership at the University of Calgary.
