Caitlin Wemigwans is an off-reserve member of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. She grew up in Northern Ontario with few traditions from her Anishinaabe culture. In 2021, she launched her streetwear brand, Pre&Peri. Caitlin focuses on creating the original Indigenous artwork that is featured on the clothing as well as product management and material sourcing with a focus on local and ethical production. Caitlin’s motifs are her interpretations and expressions of her ongoing search for connections with her Anishinaabe heritage.
