Andre Morriseau (Fort William First Nation) is a dedicated advocate and ambassador for Indigenous arts, culture, and public affairs. He previously served with the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (now Indspire) and as Communications Officer for the Chiefs of Ontario. 

Andre has held several leadership roles, including Chair of the James Bartleman Aboriginal Youth Creative Writing Awards Jury., and board positions with the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival, the Anishnawbe Health Foundation, the Ontario Arts Council and the Gardiner Museum, where he continues to serve on the Indigenous Advisory Circle. 

He is currently Co-Chair of Connected North – TakingITGlobal. Andre is the former Director of Awards and Communications at the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business and now serves as Communications Manager for the Ontario Native Women’s Association.
