Artistic Inspiration
CREATE. EDUCATE. INSPIRE. My passion, as a mostly self-taught Haudenosaunee artist, is to continually create works of art in a blend of natural and abstract elements. These designs illicit conversation and assist in educating others about my Mohawk heritage. I strive to inspire others to never stop learning and creating. Each day offers an opportunity to learn through new experiences.

Owisma
“owisma” was designed with an open mind. Started with selling Tshirts with the owisma logo. The simple and symmetrical logo carries a profound meaning, which incorporates our four elements; fire, water, earth, air as well as our 13 moons and our connection with them within our own existence.
Pacha
PACHA is an Indigenous (Kichwa) family-owned business based in Toronto selling authentically made jewellery, accessories, clothing, and home decor items to the wider public. It is an avenue to engage with Indigenous stories, culture, and traditions while uplifting their voices.
As in Mindalae tradition, our work reconnects old trade relations across borders. Each item has its own unique style according to the artist’s own traditional motifs, paired with contemporary designs. By collaborating with artists, we create intentional instances of cultural exchange to further build solidarity.
Pre & Peri
Pre&Peri is a streetwear brand featuring original Indigenous artwork inspired by Woodland Art, nature, traditional teachings and dreams.
Pre&Peri was created by Caitlin Wemigwans, an off-reserve member of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Reserve who grew up with few traditional teachings. Caitlin’s motifs are her interpretations and expressions of her ongoing search for connections with her heritage, told through an urban Indigenous lens.
Pre&Peri believes in keeping as much of their production as possible within Turtle Island in order to ensure the social equity of the people involved in the various stages of production and to support their local economy.
