Shannon is the VP of Marketing, Communications and Events at Canadian Council for Indigenous Business, and spent 26 years as a business journalist, writer, and editor—primarily with the National Post and Calgary Herald. Shannon is an active member of the Otipemisiwak Métis Nation in Alberta and has specialized in entrepreneurship and small business development throughout her career in journalism and in the non-profit sector.
